WORKING AT COLVIN

TYLER ROELFSEMA, Mechanical Project Engineer

Colvin is a great place to work because it has an awesome work life balance. As a millennial that is very important to me and Colvin respects that.

“From my experience going through internships and working odd jobs in the past, it isn’t always the industry or work that you are doing but generally it is the people that make you want to stay. It has been awesome here since everyone in the office is available to help and open to talk to.”

MYKEL VALLERGA, Mechanical Project Engineer

Engineered Systems | 20 Women to Watch in HVAC Engineering Finalist

My favorite benefit from working at Colvin, is the community.

“A community that begins at the office with supportive coworkers who also encourage participation in the industry societies such as ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers).

This community expands by collaborating on projects with other local firms and interacting with contractors that bring these plans to fruition. From a simple concept to a full functioning facility, these projects develop and take part in shaping communities, which I can contribute to in a small but positive way.”
