An existing irrigation well was re-purposed to serve as the heat source and sink for water-source heat pump that provides all space conditioning and domestic water heating needs. The size and capacity of the water heating system is carefully balanced with hot water storage tanks to meet the huge game day demand while still operating efficiently for day to day use.
